9am-noon

(meeting point hotel’s garden)

Show that you care and join us!

This is the world’s largest volunteer effort of its kind! Thousands of volunteers

from over 100 countries will spend their morning collecting millions of pounds of litter

and debris on inland roadsides, coastal areas, inland lakes and rivers.

In Miami-Dade County volunteers will assist in this effort to clean and protect the environment by eliminating debris that injures wildlife and contaminates our beaches.

Last year, over 560,000 volunteers worldwide collected more than 10 million pounds of trash

on almost 18,000 miles of coast during the 2012 International Coastal Cleanup.

In Miami-Dade County alone, over 4,000 volunteers joined together at 42 coastal and inland sites

to help restore the health of Miami’s beaches and waterways.

Immediately after the Cleanup all volunteers are invited

to the Volunteer Appreciation Party

at Sea Aquarium from noon to 3:30pm!

To volunteer, please sign up by following this link.
