I have been looking for an Indian restaurant close to where I live and found it.
One of my dining companions, Miss D., was back in town and suggested that we try this place because the flavors reminded her of what she tasted when she visited Mumbai.
Ayesha’s Fine Dining is not impressive looking from the outside but once inside, it is colorful and elegant, the aroma of curries and masalas embellishing the whole ambiance.
Ayesha Saffron Mix Grill came smoking and screaming to the table – assorted chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, shrimp, lamb chop, seekh kebab, served on a sizzler with green sauce. Flavorful, full of spice and not scorching hot.
Chicken Korma – tender pieces of boneless chicken cooked with cream sauce and nuts drove me nuts with delight. It was a well-balanced combination of everything that could possibly make anyone have a culinary orgasm.
Butter Chicken – Chicken in Tomato Cream Sauce was another fantastic dish: red-red and full of passion.
All dishes were accompanied by Rosemary Naan (leavened Indian bread topped with rosemary and cilantro) and Garlic Naan (naan topped with cilantro and garlic). Naan is a flatbread, similar to pita bread, yet softer and most of the time larger and so-so-so good! Perfect to sop up the sauces.
Am I coming back?
Can’t wait! Really.
I need my curry injection.
