Lighthouse Café in Key Biscayne

The Lighthouse Café is located inside the Bill Baggs State Park. An informal setting with all-outdoor seating and situated just steps from the beach, this is a little treasure worth exploring. At Lighthouse Café you can find well-prepared, fresh dishes in a casual atmosphere overlooking the ocean.

Lighthouse Café first opened its doors in 1995 and quickly became a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The historical Cape Florida Lighthouse adds special charm to this place.

The food was simple yet tasty: a fresh ocean breeze always makes everything taste better. We had hamburgers, grilled lobster with shrimp sauce and a whole fried Florida snapper. Afterwards a walk on the beach was all we needed to totally fall in love.

The dishes were not spectacular but were really good ( something to do with the saltwater in the air?). The seafood was a bit pricey side but at The Lighthouse Café it is all about the vibe, a genuine Florida vibe that is priceless.
