Lunch With Yuna At Lan Pan Asian Café

A little lunch with a little friend was just the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

We went to Lan Pan Café and had ourselves a little feast. The food was delicious, the favorite being the Garlic Beef Tataki.

The potstickers hit the spot: chicken and mushroom dumplings pan seared and presented with a  garlic-soy dipping sauce.

Yuna and Yazzy had Katsu, one chicken, one pork; both dusted with breadcrumbs and lightly fried and served with sweet and sour sauce.

We got salad and California rolls which came with the meal. What a bonus!

The Garlic Beef Tataki  – seared skirt steak served over spinach with garlic, scallion, and daikon radish and soy broth was just amazing. I was supposed to share this dish, but shame on me. I didn’t.

Dessert was bubble tea. Bubble tea, also known as pearl milk tea or boba milk tea, is a Taiwanese tea-based drink served with chewy tapioca balls.

This is a sweet spot to eat; a tiny restaurant full of charm, hospitality and good food.

Laughter, good friends and bubble tea. Who can ask for more?
