Our family likes to take little trips and stay in a hotel for one night, just to do something different and learn a little more about the city we live in. This time we stayed at The Bentley Hotel South Beach and we had a really good time.
The hotel was right on Ocean Drive, steps away from the beach. The room was spacious and has a kitchenette with a huge fridge and a microwave – a plus when you have leftovers from restaurant hopping. A continental breakfast was also included which was served in the lobby, on a small terrace overlooking Ocean Drive.
We had to walk on the beach and I was fascinated by the Rescue Stations on the beach, all so rustic, pretty and colorful.
Our favorite restaurant this time was Nikki Beach, just a few blocks from the hotel. The food was excellent, the prices a little steep.
I suggest a little getaway every once I a while. We almost always choose South Beach because it is so very different from where we live.
I say live my friends, live – for we only remember living once.
