My eldest daughter turned 19 today and I cannot believe how quickly those years flew by. I still look at her and remember the day she came into this world. She is smart, beautiful, brave and yes, a tad bit crazy. Living with her is anything but boring.
Her birthday this year was a rainy day so we did not go far to celebrate, just accross the street to Aromas Del Peru to eat one of her favorite invertabrates – octopus. The menu was simple yet delicious – Grilled Octopus, Tacu Tacu with Churrasco, Chicharron de Pollo ( a nice name for chicken nuggets) and Flan. A good time was had by all and now my little chicken is almost a hen.
“Who can describe the transports of a beam truly parental on beholding a daughter shoot up like some fair and modest flower, and acquire, day after day, fresh beauty and growing sweetness, so as to fill every eye with pleasure and every heart with admiration?” George Fordyce
Happy Birthday Isabelle!

Happy Birthday Izzy! I still remember when we celebrated your 13th together at Peacock Cafe, can’t believe that was 6 years ago, aaack, how time flies and now you’re a woman!
