We embraced the South Beach lifestyle once more and reserved a room at the Congress Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach. Congress Hotel South Beach is an oceanfront hotel located in Miami’s South Beach district.

As usual, we had the time of our lives just chilling out on the balcony with a serene and beautiful view of the beach, eating good food and sleeping on a bed that you did not have to make up the next day. Walking around Ocean Drive is always a pleasure and i can never get enough photos of Gianni Versace’s former house.

Amenities at the Congress Hotel included complimentary wireless Internet access, rooftop swimming pool, as well as two dining selections: the Kitchen Ocean Drive restaurant and Café Medi, both serving international cuisine specializing in seafood, pasta and steak.

We ventured out for breakfast and had the most marvelous egg-feast.

For lunch we drove to Key Biscayne and had a lovely lunch at Boater’s Grill.

We cannot wait for the next opportunity to getaway from suburban life!
